So, Recently as in on this shift I just finished one of the crew died with a unquine comp. we took them back to CC to clone them as normal and got told we can’t. Cloning is nearly impossible to get mid-shift and not being able to RP at the end of round is not very nice espically in MRP with our 5 minute end round no EORG ruleset.
I would ask this change be revoked, or revoked on MRP where end of round roleplay is much more a thing.

Either this, or give us the ability to borg at CentComm/have some MMIs lying around in medical.
If the player wanted to be cloned they wouldn’t have selected the trait that makes them uncloneable, methinks.
Up until the recent update, this wasn’t a thing. the trait UC made you un-defibbable, but cloning was A-OK and I don’t recall folks complaining about cloning unlike the alterative: Borging.
Also if you didn’t wish to be cloned / don’t want to be cloned, the player had that avaiable as a choice: you can opt to not return to your body as the machine won’t let you clone those who are ‘souless’ or you could return when they tried to revive you and join the end shift RP. so consideration for those who didn’t want to be cloned in the first place was already in place with the old setup this just removed the choice for the player with UC who did want to be cloned and join post-game.
Im also not talking about Mid-Round cloning due to the fact in my 940 hours of gameplay i’ve not seen a clone setup be finished during a round. Assuming most shifts average to 90 minutes, that would mean in 600+ shifts i’ve not seen cloning and at around 0.16% its not satistically relevent to consider as mid round cloning would be an ‘edge case’ rather than the norm

Until about three days ago, the trait that makes them uncloneable didn’t exist.
