A halfling (dwarf subspecies) from the agriworld of Yondalla, the ever wide-eyed Midrod is frank, compassionate, and unfortunately rather gullible. His eagerness to help and his quiet, conflict-avoidant form of showing respect often land him in situations where he’s either taken advantage of or stuck waiting almost endlessly for promises that were probably forgotten but he’s too shy to remind others of. His people have tufted feet with calloused, natural soles that make shoes uncomfortable and (in their eyes) unnecessary. He does carry a very official-looking exemption form with him, but whether he gets to move around freely or grumble and scratch at his ankles all shift is up to the Chief Medical Officer’s opinion…
