Ban reason: [Homophobia. Saying “Faggot”.]
Length of ban: [Appeal ban, indefinite.]
Events leading to the ban: [I got shot during a revolution round, then called the shooter a faggot.]
Reason the ban should be removed: [I have learned my lesson after taking a month’ish break from this game. From now on, I will not call other people homophobic slurs just because they played the game. In fact, I will not do it in any situation.]
At the time before the ban I had zero idea that “faggot” is a slur against gays, I would not have used it with that knowledge in mind.
However, that does not excuse it, I just want it here for the record.
This has been put to an admin discussion and vote of which we have come to the consensus to reduce the ban from indefinite to 10 days.
The reasons provided in the discussion for this decision were the following:
