Reagent Grinder Suggestion

As a regular chemist, I often find it incredibly tedious to grind the glut of plants we get from a good botany department. Having to individually insert each item out of a stack of over 50 plants into the grinder just prolongs the process and makes me not even want to bother with processing them.

How about make it possible to transfer the entire contents of a plant bag into the grinder at once? Of course, you would have to manage what plants were in the bag so as to prevent reactions in the grinder e.g. galaxy thistle and aloe. And keep the cap on the number of items the grinder can contain at one time. Maybe even add a do after for the process of transfering into the grinder. Just save me from all the clicks, please!

(im 90% sure this exists) you could ask science for a industrial reagent grinder and a mop as it will spill what you grind on the floor

the industrial reagent grinder was removed recently i believe

Well there is an industrial reagent grinder board available from the circuit imprinter in sci once basic hydroponics is researched.

My problem is I spent 3 shifts last night trying to research and print one to test it out. I was constantly getting interrupted; by war ops, cleaning up a critted anon and ninjas. Which emphasises, that if sci don’t have their shit together, chem isn’t getting jack.

I feel my above suggestion is such a simple no brainer QoL improvement, that would make interplay with botany much less of a chore and allow chem to get to their top tier meds before the evac shuttle gets called.

Only the Material Reclaimer was removed (Small one in cargo usually)

Best way currently would be to make a couple of conveyor belts and dump the materials in the belts. However, currently the Industrial Grinder is bugged and currently does not receive ANY chems.
