Ban Issue:
What I was banned for is not against the rules
Events leading to the ban
I queued to join as AI and cyborg only. I unlisted all the other roles. I was mentally exhausted, and didn’t want a role with lots of responsibility. I got chemist, which is the highest-responsibility role I’ve ever played, so I killed myself because I couldn’t play that role at that time.
Later in the day, an admin banned me. They said that me killing myself had resulted in a bunch of stuff in chemistry being broken, but I don’t think that’s true, and the admin confessed that they hadn’t seen the round nor the replay.
If anything did break, then it’s only because I misunderstood the game mechanics of how the explosion would work. I also accidentally exploded the beaker in the chem dispenser, when I meant to explode it in my hand away from the chem dispenser. That was my error, not an intentional act of destruction. If you ban me for this, you are banning me for being bad at the game.
Reason the ban should be removed
If you ban me for breaking chemistry, first, I don’t think anything actually broke. Please check the replay before making such accusations. If anything did break, then it’s only because I misunderstood the game mechanics that would allow that to happen, so you are banning me for being bad at the game. You can’t call someone a self-antag just because they didn’t know how the near-infinite number of game mechanics work in this.
You can’t legitimately ban me for abandoning the role of chemist, because I never accepted that role. I only queued as cyborg or AI.
