What I was banned for is not against the rules

Events leading to the ban

so i was walking with my friend and we where having fun when somebody said i was the worst cop ever we roplayed a augment and got into a fight i shot them with my gun and they shot me with a disabler they won and took me to jail but they thought i was aintag and wanted to flush me i defended myself and said i wasn’t antag then they held me for about 15 mins in cuffs looking for a way to flush me then gave up tired to take me to jail but it was spaced or somthin and they locked me in a room with another prisoner we took off our cuff and hung out in there when a cop opened the door and grabbed me he went to cuff me when a aintag shot him and started killing everyone i took his pda and ran so aintag wouldn’t kill me next i escaped to shuttle and hid in a corner when match was about to end a random guy came up to me said he was Ganna kill me attacked me i killed him in self defense then adimn said i was self antaging and that was agents the rules i said i wasn’t trying to self antag we were having a roplay augment and fight and then he said he doesn’t care its agents the roles and he was banning me from sec for 4 days and giving me a game ban for a shot time

Reason the ban should be removed

at the time i wasn’t trying to self antag i get it may have seemed like it but it was all in roplay and i think banning me from both because of a roplay scenario its a bit harsh given the contact that i tried to explain to him but he didn’t seem to care

What you did in the round was a complete lack of escalation and brazen breach of space law, which sec and command are bound to per roleplay rules. What you called an ‘argument’ was HoP mildly insulting you which you immediately escalated to magdumping them. Much of your actions after were further digging yourself into the self-antag hole, instead of just accepting being brigged. You justified this with the out-of character reason that ‘you were bored and your food was here’, in local chat. This is also not allowed per our rules - you should have used LOOC.

Additionally, while reviewing the round I noticed your use of homophobic language, using the word gay as an insult, and responding ew when told that some people are. Any form of bigotry is completely unacceptable, and this is a zero-tolerance rule. Due to these factors, this appeal is rejected. Additionally, due to your homophobic remarks, I am placing an indefinite server ban. You may appeal this ban in future.
