In reference to this message, I propose making an “Immersion” rule built in into the game, as roleplaying a normal person is a vague term in of itself, and seperate No Shock Content on the ERP rule as it’s own ruleset.
I also propose the ruleset to have “groupings” too, so it would be something like this:
1. Core Rules
These rules apply at all times, including between rounds.
1.1 Admin Rulings
1.1.1 Admins has a final say
1.2 Player Etiquette
This rule encompass around players ettiquete and behaviour within round
1.2.1 Do not be a dick
...
1.2.2 No Hate Speech or Discriminatory Language
...
1.3 Language and Immersion
This rule encompases around language and game immersion and enjoyment all around, this rule keeps so that character can keep acting as in character for as long as possible without causing the player excessive effort to be in character.
1.3.1 No player directed shock or malicious content
Player directed is shock or malicious content not allowed. This includes direct and indirect mentions of disturbing real world event or player specific traumatic events.
Examples:
- Allowed:
"I'm going to kill you and stuff you into a borg and you won't even remember it"
"Speak about this and I will explode the bomb I've implanted you with"
- Not allowed:
Any references of terrorism events, including but not limited to school shootings, 9/11, or any terrorist group
Any real life political events that can bring a player out of immersion.
1.3.2 No sexual content/themes, including erotic roleplay (ERP)
...
1.3.3 Excessive meme or unserious content that can put off player from acting in character
