Events leading to the ban

So it says on the ban that I made ERP references, which I did (KIND OF). BUT HEAR ME OUT!

I was in the brig after killing a bunch of people, I am somewhat new to the game so I thought as a lone operative I could kill as many as I liked. I didn’t read that other rule about excessive killing, but everyone who I passed by had witnessed me do antag stuff and I decided to leave no witnesses. So I thought that it was okay to kill them.

Onto the brig “ERP” thing, I feel like that’s a bit of a stretch. So there was a poster on the wall that said “NO ERP” and I made an IC joke about it. I was yelling, kicking, screaming, and pleading for them to not take me to the “NO ERP” zone. The guy then removed my jumpsuit, to which I said and I quote:

“I will escape this place but ass naked!”

I did one hundred percent say that, but I feel like this is way out of actual ERP or intentions of doing anything more than small jokes.

Reason the ban should be removed

I enjoy playing the server and I honestly didn’t know that there was a rule on excessive killing as an antag like the lone operative. I thought it was fine as that role and the rule was meant more so for the minor antags, but now I understand that it’s Nukies who get that privilege alone of mass murder. If given the chance, I will be more careful about that in the future. I assume as long as it’s actual self-defense, it’s fine?

As for the references towards ERP, I didn’t know it was that strict. I was just making jokes and having fun, there weren’t that many people around aside from the handful of guards. It says on the ban that I had more intentions than that, which is false. I don’t ever plan on doing ERP or anything close to it, but I will be more careful about it.

Somewhat new to the game feels like a stretch, but as this is your first offense, and the ERP stuff doesn’t read like it’s actual ERP, I’m opting to remove the ban.

With that said, the ban reason here was summarizing quite a bit of uncomfortable chat from you that day, so please consider this a serious warning to review the rules. As just one example, it seems you were calling people gay as an insult.

I appreciate it! I have 254 hours on the game and am a returning player as of recently. I did play ss13 but this game is a great deal different to what I am used to. I understand and I will more closely consider other players when having my fun.

I don’t recall at all calling anyone gay as an insult, but I could be wrong and was maybe joking. As I said, I will be more careful and have some more consideration when playing.
