Events leading to the ban

I was playing on the Miros Wizden server whilst a group of hackers who’s ingame characters were spinning all the while attacking anyone they could find. After encountering one of them I get a message on discord in the Miros Community server from the user ligthening_orb confirming that they were infact cheating. Whilst checking I notice that DoctorCpu and a_spiffy_fellow were in a public vc and I join to ask them wether or not admins were called. After a while of being in the vc, since we couldn’t in-character talk to eachother ingame due to the self antagonising and security not being able to take care of the attackers, the shift ends after the cheaters get what I assume is a ban after which we decide to play another shift but we didn’t leave the vc at which point I recive an admin message and get my previously mentioned ban.

Reason the ban should be removed

I belive that I should have my punishment reduced as I had no intent in metacomming or providing ingame info with the previously mentioned users and instead wanted to ask questions about the admin status aswell as have general off-topic conversations.
I understand that there is zero-tolerance for metacomming of any form, as stated in the guide-lines, and I will not repeat my actions.

Alternate Accounts

This has been put to an admin discussion and vote of which we have come to the consensus to remove the ban.

The reasons provided in the discussion for this decision were the following:

  • 2nd Chance
  • Honest appeal, understands what they did was wrong.
