SS14 Servers that prioritise equal species interaction

Hi, uh… Just gonna ask this because my friend doesn’t know about the forums and they wanna know more, but, two things? One, do ya’ll feel like some servers prioritize interaction with non-humans instead of other humans? And two, are there any servers that mostly treat species equally in interaction (which could be considered mrp-hrp)?

I’m sorry if these are weird questions to ask, and if this is the wrong category, or if I’m breaking rules, I can delete this post. But, my friend wanted me to ask. I have image proof of our conversation if ya’ll need it.

While each species is seen as unique, they are not seen as inferior on most popular servers.

This is the norm for SS14, as opposed to SS13 where you had mechanically enforced discrimination on some major servers.

Wizden itself takes spacism and racism very seriously. if you want to not have either I recomend any of our Wizden servers. For first offense of spacism you get an indef gameban only appealable on the forums so no warnings instant perma. So if you want a server that is truely equal main server if your best bet.

RCM14 has no mechanical differences for species and has a rule explicitely explaining why racism-RP is LRP (if the rule “don’t be racist to other species” was not enough of a deterrent).

You can confirm this easily:

  • Enter a server
  • Read the rules where you will VERY likely find a rule saying to not be specist
  • Double check the server has actual moderation/they take rules seriously

90% of cases of specism (if any) you find will be due to the third point. You would need a VERY “edgy” server to intentionally remove the specism rule from upstream.

most specism or “non-equality” i ever personnaly ecountered (besides shitters who get banned shortly after) is security trying to dedice if lizard with his sharp claws clawing / punching somone is assault or just ment to be small punch to arm

only exception to punch is civil dispute is probably on nanotrasen forks with oni’s 10 blunt, 2 slash, speed 1 punches, while most species with more than 5 damage have <1 speed, making them quite dangerous, like nanotrasen forks have a LOT of species like that where a punch from or to them can be really dangerous. Other examples are plasmamen, shadowkin, and IPCs with the reinforced calluses trait

Edit: only real exception to that on vanilla is probably lizard punching moff or some other brute weak specie.
