The funny side effect of changing the Character keybind to Crawling

Since crawling was added, within the first days at least, i had seen a couple of people “tripping” to the floor seemingly at random when running down the halls, without even stopping. I tought “well, they must be testing out the feature”.

After realizing that only a couple where doing it consistently and the round finished i realized: traitors where trying to check their character menu and crawling instead.

So many traitors started to become blatantly obvious from the muscle memory. I think they have gotten used to it now. But it was really funny.

Honestly I just never realized how often I accidentally hit the C key

especially as borg i’m actually just constantly accidentally dropping to the floor when i’m trying to cycle through my hotbar

why is your cycle key set to C? isnt it default to X? or is that a bug with displayed keybinds for translating keyboard input from me to gamepad input for my deck to keyboard input for the game?

X and C are right next to each other on a standard QWERTY keyboard, its easy to hit the wrong one by accident.
