Hi all. Problems with the game. While I log into the server, about 10 minutes or more pass. And when I go in, after a couple of minutes the game crashes. What is the problem? Windows 10

Hello, what was the server you expirience the crashes in? If it was not a wizards den server. Can you try in one and see if you expirience the same bug?

And if you click Compatibility, you get this error: Failed to create the game window

Sorry, but when I added a message, it was published strangely. This made it a duplicate. The problem remains. This happens on any server. Compatibility mode does not turn on at all. Although in others it actually solves the problem… HELP!

Please follow the following steps so I can continue helping

  1. Open the launcher, untick compatibility mode and enable client and launcher logging
  2. Restart your launcher
  3. Try doing what is crashing the game
  4. Once you done that, go back to the launcher and scroll down to “open log directory”. This will open a folder with some log files
  5. Send the textfiles to me by clicking on my name > Message and drag the log inside (Its fine if you get an error about a zero byte file)

After reviewing the logs i can attempt to find you a way to fix your issue

Hey, I managed to review your logs

The error I see is

Fatal error. System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Please try the following:

  1. Go to launcher options > Clear launcher and engine data
  2. If this does not work, I would recommend you check your computers’ memory or windows install, as this error indicates that your memory may be having issues and need to be replaced.

I tried clearing the launcher back then, but it didn’t help. What about computer memory? HDD memory? What do I need to do?

After googling I found that the problem is not in the hardware. So I don’t know what to do. Probably playing on Space Station 13 again :frowning:
