Ban reason:incompetence, self antag, eorg, being a dick, AA to a kobold, blanket contra permit for salve, sword in disposals, spare ID to tider, mass assault to HOS, Looc being mean to hos "die in a hole somewh. Length of ban:Indefinite Ban Issue: The ban is fair, but I would like a second chance or reduction
Events leading to the ban
I barely remember the events that transpired due to the copious amounts of alcohol in my body at the time. Everything stated in the ban reason is true as I remember most of it.
Reason the ban should be removed
I am sad to have lost the luxury of playing on the offcial servers due to my behavior when I was drunk. I admit to quitting playing sec and command as my ego is broken and I dont think I could cope playing those roles again and getting flamed this fucking hard.
I wont drink and play this game again, the reason I am here typing out an appeal reason.
I am sorry its taking so long getting back to you. I’m sure as you have been apprised, As volunteers, we handle these appeals when we have the time to do so, As we don’t wish to do a half ass job when processing them, Making sure all aspects of the punishment are proper/warrented.
I’ve read through the Ahelps, I am currently in review of the rounds. Once I have gone through the rounds, I will update this thread with my decision on how we will proceed with this ban.
Ok. So I have reviewed all the pertinent info, Looked into Ahelps and rounds. Here is what I think.
I think that you need to seriously re-evaluate your playstyle and your actions when on server. You have been banned now twice due to issues, (Plus one self requested, so that will not count towards my decision.)
However, We all make mistakes, Sometimes what is thought to be a good plan or fun, Turns out to be something that we regret. In your case, Playing this game drunk. It was an honest mistake and one I am hopeful you will not do again.
So here is my decision.
You will be unbanned effective immediately. You will NOT be whitelisted. You will have to re-apply. I would encourage you to not immediately ask to be whitelisted and instead get a feel for RPing again and maybe a month of good clean behaviour before re-applying for the whitelist.
As for your Command and Sec Rolebans, Those will remain. Until we are satisfied you can RP a role that is not as round impacting to a good standard, We will not entertain the idea of you doing any kind of security or command role. This does include ERT and Deathsquad.
To offer my final thoughts, You made a bad decision. You owned it. If you had been less honest in your appeal, I would have denied it immediately. I appreciate the honesty that comes from accepting a mistake. Today is a new day for you. The best part? Every day thereafter is a chance to do the right thing and do your best.
