Gran (previously “Cran”) is an 81 year old retired medical worker of Nanotrasen. After 50 long years of service, she likes to spend her time leisurely vacationing on the ships, watching as the new generation takes the reigns. Her favourite past-time is to sit in the library and write letters to her many, many, grandchildren and sending them by fax (a machine she still fancies as “new fandangled technology”). But she’s also not opposed to a good time at the bar, or even helping the medical staff when crisis strikes (even though her fading eyesight may make things difficult every once in a while).
