Policies or Expectations Violated: Basic Common Sense and Mutual Respect Expected from Community Members

Do you want this complaint to be made public after it is processed: Yes

Detailed Summary: Okay, let’s see. As we all know, Wizden hates any kind of criticism — whether it’s constructive or baseless. They only enforce rules when it benefits them and conveniently ignore them when it doesn’t. With that context out of the way, let’s objectively look at this:

I received a Steam Community warning over a simple question:

I let others know about it because it was unfair. And what did I get in return? Of course — a ban without any explanation:

Let’s not forget, you blocked me on Discord a year ago simply for reporting your own admin breaking your own rules. That was the first time you acted unfairly towards me. I tolerated that nonsense and moved on, playing on third-party servers just to avoid being bullied for naively believing there was any justice in this corrupt mess.

And now, you ban me for merely existing and commenting? Claiming I broke Steam Community Guidelines when I clearly didn’t? Why? Because of personal hatred you can’t let go of like an adult — instead acting like an entitled kid, like Joffrey from GoT or something…

Maybe take a second to actually look at your own behavior and ask yourself: is it really the people who are wrong, or are you just too deep in your own delusions?

You keep fabricating this narrative of, “Oh, people are intentionally spreading hate about us. We’re so innocent and kind, but evil people bully us.” But the truth is, you’ve never acted fairly — and you expect people to just quietly accept it?

Did you ever consider, I don’t know, actually applying your own rules to yourself? Listening to people? Blocking only those who are genuinely a problem, instead of being so quick to silence anyone who questions you?

Maybe, just maybe, if people felt you were fair, they wouldn’t complain. Maybe there’s no secret “hate campaign” — maybe it’s just a bunch of people you’ve treated unfairly, who have nowhere else to speak up because you keep all the control and pull this same nonsense everywhere: Steam, Reddit, Discord, wherever.

Do you seriously believe you can keep doing this forever without ever facing any consequences? That no one will ever hold you accountable and you’ll always get away with treating people like this?

How about this: why don’t we actually talk? Like real people. No pretending I’m being “aggressive” just to justify your actions. No hiding behind bans, blocks, or one-sided power trips. Let’s have an honest, direct conversation — like adults.

Nice to see you promising to reduce toxic behavior and then doing this

Hi,

You have in the past shown consistent hostile behavior towards our community, including perpetuating harassment and misinformation. This is why you were originally banned from Discord. I do not feel like digging up receipts for this given that this all happened 2+ years ago, and I am no longer in some of the Discord communities this occurred in.

After such a long time I do normally consider past occurrences “all forgotten” by default, and if you simply did not act hostile towards us I would assume you changed and would likely gladly accept an appeal. However it was clear to me from your first post on the Steam forums (and all subsequent posts, including this one) that this was not the case.

Just a tip: a normal person does not report a bug by saying “you do realize you broke this?” It implies that it is “obvious” or that we are “stupid” for letting such a bug slip through. This is not how to report a bug in good faith and even in the same Steam thread there were other people reporting issues in an actually constructive manner. This post would be disrespectful whether you had past history with us or not, and doubling-tripling down like you are doing does not help your case.

I am not going to reply to the rest of your post in detail. You are repeating the exact same talking points as 2+ years ago. They weren’t true then, they aren’t true now. You are taking part in a targeted harassment campaign, and that is all that needs to be said.

Complaint rejected.

Okay, let’s break down your message and address each point:

  • Accusations without evidence:
You claim I’ve shown “consistent hostile behavior” and taken part in a “harassment campaign” but immediately state that you “do not feel like digging up receipts” because it was “2+ years ago.”
If you cannot provide any proof of these serious accusations, they are nothing more than baseless claims. You’re using vague, unprovable allegations to justify current actions instead of addressing the actual issue at hand.

  • Contradicting Yourself:
You state that you usually consider past events “all forgotten” by default, yet in the same message, you use unproven past events as the reason for rejecting my appeal. Either you move on, or you don’t — but you can’t claim both.

  • Mischaracterizing my words:
You cite my phrase “you do realize you broke this?” as an example of “hostile behavior” and claim a “normal person” wouldn’t report a bug this way. Let me clarify:

  1. This phrasing is common, neutral internet language used to point out an issue.
  2. You deliberately interpret a casual statement as an attack to frame me negatively.
  3. There were no insults, threats, or actual hostility in that report — only your subjective interpretation of tone, which is not a violation of any guidelines.
  • Ignoring the real problem
Instead of addressing the actual chain of events — receiving an unfair warning over a harmless post, followed by an unexplained ban — you divert the discussion to alleged historical behavior and subjective tone policing.

  • Narrative control
Your final statement claims I am participating in a “targeted harassment campaign,” yet you:

  1. Provide no evidence.
  2. Shut down the conversation without discussion.
  3. Refuse to engage in any dialogue that might challenge your narrative.

This is not moderation — this is censorship. You hold the power to silence, ban, and control the narrative while labeling any disagreement or criticism as “harassment.”

  • Avoidance of responsibility:
You accuse others of being hostile but refuse to reflect on how your own actions — including unjust bans and selective rule enforcement — have created the frustration and criticism you now label as “hostility.”

Your message is a textbook example of dismissing valid concerns with vague, unfounded accusations, while shifting blame and avoiding any accountability.
The fact that you openly admit to not having evidence, while accusing others of harassment, shows how weak and self-serving your position is.

If you were genuinely interested in fairness and community well-being, you would:

  • Provide clear, factual evidence for your accusations.
  • Address the actual concerns objectively.
  • Apply the same standards to yourself and your team as you apply to others.

Instead, you chose to silence and deflect. That says everything.

Finally, I want to highlight that you completely ignored the part where I explicitly offered to have an honest, direct conversation — without hostility, without aggression, and without the power imbalance of bans or blocks.

Rather than acknowledging or accepting that offer, you continued framing me as “hostile” and shut down any chance of dialogue.

That alone proves my point:
You were never interested in resolving this. You prefer to maintain control over the narrative by silencing and labeling anyone who questions you, rather than engaging in a fair, adult conversation.
