You did more then just a one-off comment calling someone a mutant. Our problem with species-targeted insults is players very often use it as a thin veil for racism and it is never played well besides just being overly hostile to random players because of chosen in-game race.
I apologise I had no intention to make people feel as if I was being racist towards them.
I understand this behaviour isn’t welcome here and it won’t happen again.
I don’t know if it’s insightful at all but I have been playing this game for less than 6hrs total and have no experience with SS13.
More than happy to make amends or apologise with anyone who was individually affected.
