[I realize how this message looks out of context, as if I’m planning… something on lizard, but I use the words ‘evil, nefarious, etc.’ in a way that is comedic to me. I remember simply being excited to play on lizard tomorrow before I went to sleep. The following image is proof that I use the word ‘evil’ in this sort of way pretty often.]

[Yeah, this is what I mean when I admit to sharing current round information. If I remember, this was during an extremely boring round for revs where they outted themselves immediately, so I didn’t see a problem telling people who I know were in the same round as me that I didn’t see any real action from revs. At the time, I failed to see how this could influence the round in any way.]

[If I remember correctly, I said ‘afk evac’ at the end of a nukies round (as in, 3 min shuttle call.) Don’t really remember for sure, and if I can’t provide context then there’s no way for the admins to know the context either. For the medbay comment, I believe I said this during a warops round with a medbay that was particularly understaffed or underequipped while I was dead. Again, I was very certain that the people in the discord were already in the round and already knew that medbay wasn’t functioning too smoothly, but if they didn’t then this knowledge gave them an unfair advantage.]

[Another example of me technically giving current round information but that is of no discernible use. I suppose the problem is that if people in the discord were unaware that there was currently an event round, they would be able to tell without joining which is technically the meta advantage that this message provided.]
Reason the ban should be removed: [I was not trying to be malicious when I shared current round information. I trusted that the people I was talking with about the current round wouldn’t use the information I gave to gain an unfair advantage - but I should have realized that even just knowing is enough to influence biases on how players might act in a round. I know now that even if it doesn’t seem bad, or that I trust others not to act upon it, sharing current round information is unacceptable as it can unavoidably influence the way that rounds play out in an unfair manner. Me and the rest of the players banned for this reason have resolved to set visible guidelines within said discord and strictly enforce against sharing current round information. Still, I accept that I have broken the rules as they are written, so I do not expect the ban to simply be removed instantly.]
