So, whilst doing some of the work on sprites of some clothing, I’ve faced a really huge problem. There’s a lot of Vox cloths that it might be hard to resprite for each element of the clothing.
And now I question thee forum users, is there any way on auto-spriting vox sprites exactly using the original human sprite?
That is what Displacement maps are for.
Vox are a big user of the displacement map system so there are some examples already.
So, as I’ve been told, Displacement maps does not work with outer clothing elements, what could I do with it?
They should work with all sprites, by outer clothes you mean stuff like suits? That’s their biggest and most noticable use to my knowledge
