Character Description
Adopted by an Arachnid family (hence his more Latin name), Marcus Legio is adaptable and determined, but was rather listless for most of his life, drifting from one job to the next. While on the Nanotrasen passenger program on the advice of his step-brother, he drank too much of the complimentary liquor and nearly died of alcohol poisoning.
Marcus felt immense gratitude to the medical team on the station that saved him and decided to apply to be a medical intern to repay both them and the large amount of medical debt he was saddled with. Eventually he rose through the ranks to be a capable medical doctor, enough to be chief medical officer in a few installations.
While somewhat spacey, he is no less determined to save lives as a doctor even when all hope is lost. As a CMO, however, the added administrative burden causes some skills to become garbled. He tends to be an example of the Peter Principle rather than an exception. He remains both a recovering alcoholic and in severe debt.
