Ban reason:The ban reason is: "Named "Gay Idiot." Appeal @ forum.ss14.io" Length of ban:Indefinite Ban Issue: I did not do what I was banned for
Vote Opt-Out:true
Events leading to the ban
From roughly 9:00PM MST Up until around 11:58PM MST, I had been playing on Wizard’s Den Salamander for about the past three or four hours as the character “Eddie G. Scott” (albeit, observing the two prior rounds) when my connection was suddenly dropped. At first, I thought it was my internet, but after reconnecting, I was completely blindsided by being banned for apparently using the name “Gay Idiot”.
Reason the ban should be removed
I’ve never used “Gay Idiot” as the name for any character. I received no prior warning to the ban. It was probably a mistake? I don’t think I have any remarks either, if that helps my case.
Quick addendum: I was banned during Salamander Round 67956, according to the replay; hopefully that helps narrow things down. (I show up on the station around 14 minutes in, I was making myself a late dinner.)
I don’t know. Just tried to connect again, and got the same message. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I’m using a pirated OS? Don’t tell anyone I’m using a pirated OS, by the way. Microsoft will come to my house with hammers and break my legs.
If I’m not actually banned, would it be possible to just whitelist my account or something, then?
