After having just wrapped up another eventful shift on Space Station 13, Ashley entered the lone cryo-stasis pod aboard the transit shuttle that was en route towards her next assignment after having been forced to spend her ‘vacation time’ or risk losing it entirely. Over five years later, she finally arrived, bit-flip sending her at shuttle at sub-light speeds. The unintended years long deep freeze having managed to wipe away almost all of Ashley’s old knowledge and skill-set. Several weeks, and shifts later, she’s adjusting well to the oddly familiar yet infinitely more complex Space Station 14.
