Slimemantha Arti was previously a sentient artifact. After killing the entire entire science department and some other bystanders with her anomalous effects she was crushed by a cyborg following its laws. Her fragments were brought to Central Command where the still sentients chunks were used to create a brain which was then put it the body of a slime person. She then started working for Nanotrasen as a scientist.
