Policies or Expectations Violated: The expectation that admins will properly enforce server rules
Do you want this complaint to be made public after it is processed: Yes
Detailed Summary: During Salamander round 53538, the Captain - Chocolate Chip - stripped the spare Captain ID of accesses, and gave it to the Lawyer - Faire Tryle - in exchange for 90k spesos. Notably, Tryle confirmed himself as an antag by outright stating who his kill target was - I am aware of this because Chocolate Chip shared the information over Command comms, meaning he too was aware.
This violates one of the Command-specific rules, which is to not give away objective items. It also directly aided a known antagonist, and later prevented the HoP from acquiring the appropriate access - and as a result, any Captain equipment - once the Captain died, as their ID was unrecoverable.
I ahelped this problem, and AjexRose responded that this was fine, as it wasn’t detrimental to the station, or directly aiding a known antagonist. However, it was directly helping a known antagonist achieve his objectives - if that doesn’t count as directly aiding a known antagonist, I genuinely don’t understand how, as it seems to fit the definition to the letter.
If stating their objectives isn’t sufficient to confirm a character as an antagonist, this is still a case of a member of Command willingly giving an objective item to a non-Command crew member, which - to my understanding - is forbidden even if the receiving crew member isn’t an antagonist. Again, I genuinely don’t understand why this becomes okay when a bribe is involved, as the same rule clarification AjexRose referred to states that Command is held to stricter standards than most of the crew when it comes to taking bribes.
This exchange gives the impression that - despite what appears to be a clear rulebreak - no action was taken, and it wasn’t actually violating any rules. This is confusing, as it seems to cause a disconnect between the rules as they’re written, and the rules as they’re enforced. If AjexRose is not at fault, then I believe the rules themselves may be too ambiguous in this area, as it is very easy to interpet them in ways that seemingly aren’t what they’re intended to mean.

There’s one message not included in this screenshot - it is unrelated to this complaint, as I was just alerting the admins of a human character with no surname.
