Issue with ERP rule's example

I think this might have been a mistake. This shouldn’t be under ERP?

Since this got kinda longer I just want to clarify I’m glad we got the rules rework, I do think it needs quite a bit of polishing though.

I think there’s a lot of issues with the new rules, miscategorizing them is the least of the issues. These rules are more confusing than helpful. The escalation rules are strange, and I’m a fairly strict HoS, but its leaves me with a ton of questions then I had before reading the rules.

I also don’t like the idea of syndicate drip being able to be met with leatheled, for example the balloon, and or the master of arms hat. (Which is in the rules)

Also the space law was good, BUT there are no timers, or anything to help guide a warden on how to sentence things.

What if I have a steal objective, and I do a gamble crate and get a china lake? Also, if every person with a steal objective goes silent (I am a combat thief), WHAT is sec supposed to do, there’s almost no gameplay around that.

Issue: finding the nukie ship should reveal that nukies are not a myth

Issue: there is no mention of revs in the rules, or specifically meta shield. This will cause a large number of issues seeing as that is the game mode with the most “metagame”

Issue: station wide power sabotage is not permitted but power sinks are still purchasable

Possible issue: Ninja objectives are not metashielded. Might be intended

Possible issue: no clarification on zombies gamemode, II have caused large amounts of damage in the past, and currently them mass murdering is “proportional to their objectives”

2.9 Seems pretty problematic. It makes high skill antag plays not allowed. I do not say this because I made the video but the friendship video is a good example of something that almost everyone loved, but will no longer be permitted. I think this rule in particular could use some work

Issue: there is a fireaxe in bridge but command is not allowed use of fire axes, only atmos

Might be helpful to add to 1.14 that players are not allowed to say they are antags in OOC ways, example being the “silly lizard” incident (OOC ic is not mentioned at all)

I think this fits better under “Do not use out of game methods to communicate with other players” because iirc the issue with the silly lizard incident was that OOC knowledge was being relied on to communicate information, but you’re right that it can be clarified

It is covered by “Roleplay a normal person” which says to not use OOC terms IC. Combined with the other rules, and after modification to the metacomm rule, I think this covers everything that’d be an issue but I might be missing something

I know toxins aren’t fully illegal, but isn’t lexorin classified as a toxin?

The and is intentional but the list commas should be semicolons. The thing after the and is the 6th list item

I am not sure how to reply to the individual points like you did but thanks for getting back to me! I mentioned lexorin due to this part of spacelaw technically making it legal for science to own, while other syndicate chemicals like nocturne are not. Making “Chemical synthesized with vestine” illegal would solve several of these and shorten the list
